Safeguarding

Eagle School is fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share in this commitment.  Every pupil should be able to participate in all school activities in a safe and supporting environment and be protected from harm.  All school staff are trained in safeguarding and we listen to our pupils and take seriously what they tell us.

We have a number of policies and procedures in place that contribute to our safeguarding commitment, including our Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy which can be read here or on the Key Information page (click here).  The procedures contained in this policy apply to all staff, volunteers and Governors of Eagle School and are consistent with those of the Lincolnshire Safeguarding Children Partnership (LSCP).

The school follows the DfE policies on Working Together to Safeguard Children and Keeping Children Safe in Education.

Our Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) is Mrs Wendy Daley (Head of School).

Our Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL) is Mrs Dawn McCutcheon (School Business Manager).

Our School Safeguarding Governor is Mrs Annalisa Cook.

The school safeguarding team can be contacted through visiting the School office or by telephoning 01522 868354 or by email at enquiries@eagle.lincs.sch.uk
